Hong Kong, China

The beloved Stanley Ferry crosses the bay in just over ten minutes and only costs a couple of dollars. See the amazing evening light display (before 8pm).

Istanbul, Turkey

Cruise the Bosporus onboard the Sehir Hatiari Ferry and you'll see two sides of Turkey – the Asian and the European – on either side of the natural strait.

Sydney, Australia

The Manly Ferry is a Sydney classic. The ferry sails from Circular Quay to Manly on the northern side of the harbour.

Venice, Italy

Try the Vaporetto - hop on and hop off - to cruise the Grand Canal and stop at Murano and the Lido.

Liverpool, UK

Ferry across the Mersey - and yes, you can sing along. There's also a fascinating commentary about the local history.

New York, USA

Staten Island Ferry sails past the Statue of Liberty and it’s free!

London, UK

The Clipper Boat will take you along the mighty Thames for great views of the major architectural institutions.

New Orleans, USA

The Algiers Ferry has been running since 1827. It leaves from Canal Street on the Mississippi.
