9am

Beat the heat and be the first to arrive at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Listen to an audio tour while you admire more than 80 marble domes and over 1000 pillars.

10:30am

The new Louvre Abu Dhabi is home to thousands of artefacts spanning various millennia, mediums and civilisations – all displayed over a cool, white space.

12:30pm

St Regis Saadiyat private beach is perched on one of Abu Dhabi’s prettiest slices of sand. Its new Buddha Bar is ideal for a long, languorous lunch. 

3pm

Head for a hammam, or ‘Turkish bath’, at Anantara Eastern Mangroves where you’ll be scrubbed from top to toe.

5pm

Take an afternoon dip at the Ritz Carlton which boasts an enormous pool as well as a private, sandy beach.

7pm

The Ritz Carlton’s Li Jiang restaurant has a lovely terrace overlooking the Grand Mosque and serves upmarket cuisine.
